Susan brings 18 years of experience in the mental health field, supporting individuals experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, suicidal ideation, life transitions, trauma, self-confidence and self-worth, as well as more complex mental health concerns such as psychosis.
Susan utilizes evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I), CBT for psychosis, and mindfulness-based therapies. Her approach is collaborative and individualized, recognizing that each person’s experiences, strengths, and needs are unique.
Susan is passionate about working alongside her clients to help them better understand the underlying factors contributing to their struggles while developing practical tools and strategies to support meaningful and lasting change. She strives to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust is central to her practice.
Susan believes that learning and growth are ongoing processes—not only for her clients, but for herself as well. She continues to pursue professional development and specialized training in order to expand her knowledge and incorporate current, evidence-informed approaches into her practice. Her goal is to provide each client with thoughtful, effective, and individualized support as they work toward improved mental health and overall well-being.
