Rebecca Hinkson, M.Sc., C. Psych Assoc.
Psychological Associate

Rebecca Hinkson is a Registered Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, specializing in School Psychology and serving children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in the field of psychological assessment since 2009 and brings extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, with a particular focus on neurodevelopmental disorders, including Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Specific Learning Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Giftedness, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Rebecca has curated extensive experience in providing assessment services through her work across a range of educational settings, specialized assessment clinics, and private practice, with her work further informed through collaboration with community-based agencies.
Rebecca’s approach to assessment is grounded in developing a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral profile, with consideration of their individual strengths, areas of need, and broader contextual factors that may influence functioning. She seeks to identify barriers that may interfere with an individual’s ability to fully access, navigate, and succeed within educational and vocational environments, while providing a warm, supportive, and collaborative assessment experience for clients and their families. Rebecca aims to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of their unique profile, recognize and build upon their strengths, and access practical, individualized recommendations to support meaningful growth and success across settings.
